Preparing and caring for your PRF injections
Following our pre-care and post-care advice helps ensure successful results from your injection.

1 week prior, wear sunscreen for the week leading up to your appointment to help prevent UV damage.

3 days prior, begin drinking at least 64 oz. of water each day before your PRF treatment.

Avoid blood-thinning agents, such as alcohol and certain medicines, to minimize the risk of bruising.

When you’re ready to wash your face, wash your hands with soap first. Wash your face using lukewarm water only; avoid harsh cleansers. Then, delicately pat dry. Wash in this way for 3 days.

Sleep on your back for 2 nights.

Avoid touching your face for at least 6 hours following your facial.

Do not use exfoliating products for at least 3 days.
